Aaaaaaaaaaand... we're back!

Greetings, friends (and, I guess, enemies who are for some reason reading my blog). It is my sincere joy to inform you that the only reason you haven't been subjected to relentless whining that my internet connection has been down for two days, is that my internet connection has been down for two days.

Apparently the cable that runs from the roof (!) to my apartment got chewed on by squirrels. Stupid squirrels.

I don't know how to comment on that to make it any funnier. I mean, c'mon. Squirrels

Seriously dude, your elevator is about to fall to the basement, there are weekly break-ins, and you have rodents eating your connection to the net.

Talk to whoever is in charge around there.

Heee....
Squirrels. I saw mice, and caribous, and deer, but no squirrels in Banff. Now I know why. They were in the middle of a highly covert operation. Operation TODI: Take Out Drew's Internet.

I guess we're not all that back after all.

It's better than the "phone that stopped working when it rained". Telus would send someone out 3 days later after everything dried out and was working fine, so they could tell me exactly that (and try to charge $60 for a service call). It took 4-5 attempts before someone decided to actually take a look at the service that came into the buiding to discover the leak.
