I used to be faintly bothered by celebrities like, say, Paris Hilton, who are tautologically famous just for being famous.

No more.

With the arrival in my consciousness of Kathy Griffin's "My Life on the D-List," we now have a celebrity who is famous for NOT being famous.

I know, it blew my mind too.
